Bella Matte Structured Wax

Our Bella Cera Structured Wax is one of our best selling and more versatile products, this is just the matte version of it! This product offers the same versatility of it’s glossy counterpart, but dries to a matte finish.

It is not a true wax, but more of a gel or paste in nature. 

This product can be troweled and will hold any texture you put in it without sagging or drooping, hence the "structured" descriptor. It is a reformulation of our Bella Cera Satin Wax which is no longer in production. 

Do note that due to the matte finish, this product does not dry crystal clear, but has more of a frosted, whitish look when untinted. Still no yellowing. *If you want a fully white wax, it is recommended to add white colorant*

Bella Matte Structured Wax can be tinted with colorants or paint, both metallic and non. 

If you want fully opaque wax, 2 tablespoons of paint to 1 cup of wax is recommended, 2 oz per gallon of colorant can be used as well. With Mixol’s metallic dispersions we recommend going with ½ bottler per gallon. Changing the tint ratio will change the opacity to help lend to different looks! This product is white when wet and again whitish when dry, so something to note when you are tinting it yourself is that the color may not dry exactly as it looks. You may need more paint or tint than its glossy counterpart or you may choose to go up a shade with the paint instead. Adding black will help darken the overall color as well.

It is not recommended to mix glitter or mica into the Matte Wax because the medium doesn’t dry clear so you don’t really see them, and it looks a bit muddy. Great for matte metallics or concrete looks though!

You can apply multiple layers without compromise, wet on wet, drying in between, layered with other materials and it only gets prettier!

It stands up to rollers, sponges and stencils as well. 

Depending on application style, a gallon will cover 100-250 sq ft per gallon.

It should not freeze, be applied on exterior surfaces, or put on the floor or in a shower. If it is used in a bathroom or powder room try to limit the amount of moisture it comes in contact with by wiping it down and running a fan.

*It is NOT recommended that this product freeze, and while we do take preventative measures with thermal wrap and hand warmers to do what we can, due to weather conditions and shipping delays we may choose to hold your order until the following Monday to reduce risk of the product sitting. Try to store in a place that does not experience freezing cold temperatures!*
