Glass Tiles

Faux painting professionals will find this finish to be very versatile, and particularly adaptable to areas where a tile look is desired.   While we have used a darker combination of colors, lighter colors would work just as well.

How did we do it?

Use Briste Group’s 1/8” tape to create faux grout lines.  Put down a layer of Versiplast.  We colorwashed the Versiplast with two Skimstone colorants:  Minoan Red and Eggplant.   Sponging on Blue Pearl’s Pearl Paste in Coffee and Gold was the next step.  As an additional effect, we used Perfetto’s new Wood Gel in Gilded Walnut, before using the new Perfetto urethane to seal the finish.
